STRUCTURAL SEMANTIC PROPERTIES OF ENGLISH FLORAL NAMES

Анотація

The article is devoted to onomastic research as one of the linguistic instruments to understand the inner structure of lexicon in modern linguistics. The procedure and definition of onomastic analysis is revealed in the article, its position in linguistics is being defined, and also semantic potential of onomastic English floral names are investigated through etymological, structural and semantic methods.
