Анотація

The article deals with the verbal means of describing paradise as a real space in the English version of the Bible, King James’s Bible in particular. The verses of this book contain lexical items that refer to specific plac-enames and allow contextual meaning of some word groups revealing their role in the development of the PARADISE concept from the Bible towards the general understanding of this space.
